Data Deletion

Last updated 5 September 2026

Omnel Pvt Ltd ("Omnel") is a business product. Organisations use it to record and analyse their sales and customer conversations. This page explains how to have data deleted.

Staff accounts are managed by the business

Omnel does not offer self-service sign-up. A business adds and removes its own staff (for example sales reps and managers). If you are a rep or manager and want your account and access removed, ask your organisation's Omnel administrator to remove you; doing so disables your access. If you prefer, you can also send us a request using the details below and we will coordinate with your organisation.

Requesting deletion of your data

A business, a member of its staff, or an individual whose conversation was recorded can request deletion of personal data by emailing hello@omnelai.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Please include:

  • Your name and the organisation involved.
  • What you would like deleted (for example your account, specific recordings, or all associated data).
  • Enough detail for us to locate the data (for example dates or phone numbers).

What we delete and when

On a valid request we delete the relevant personal data, including audio recordings, transcripts, and derived insights, from our active systems, and instruct our sub-processors to do the same. We complete verified requests within 30 days. We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires us to keep it, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; it is then deleted at the end of that period.

Data controlled by a business

For conversation data, the business that uses Omnel is the controller and decides how that data is used. If your request concerns a recording made by a business, we act on that business's instructions, so please also contact them directly. We will support them in responding to you.
