Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Omnel ("Omnel", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and our conversation intelligence platform (the "Service"). Omnel is designed for business use by sales teams, and much of the data we process is provided by our customers.
Who controls your data
When a business uses Omnel to process its sales conversations, that business is the controller of the data and Omnel acts as its processor. We process conversation data on our customers' instructions and under our agreements with them. If you are an individual whose conversation was processed, please contact the business you were speaking with regarding their use of Omnel.
Information we process
- Conversation data. Recordings, transcripts, and the structured insights derived from sales conversations that our customers submit to the Service.
- Account data. Names, work email addresses, and role information for the users who access the Service.
- Usage data. Log data, device and browser information, and analytics about how the Service is used.
- Website data. Information you provide when you contact us or request a demo.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To generate insights, CRM updates, and follow-up drafts for our customers.
- To secure the Service and prevent misuse.
- To respond to enquiries and provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Consent
Conversations may only be submitted to Omnel where the required notices and consents are in place. Our customers are responsible for obtaining and managing consent from the people in their conversations, and the Service provides controls to support this.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, when required by law, or as directed by the customer who controls the data. Any AI models we use to process conversations are used under terms that prohibit using customer data to train third-party models.
Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the Service and as configured by our customers. Customers can set retention periods and request deletion of data under their control.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and least-privilege practices.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us or the business that controls your data.
